It Started With Her.

In 2018, NuAira began unintentionally.

After welcoming her baby girl, our founder searched for a satin bonnet small enough to help protect her daughter's delicate hair as her head came into constant contact with everyday surfaces while resting, traveling and simply being a baby.

She couldn't find what she needed.

So she created it.

Combining her sewing skills with research and a determination to create something better suited for her daughter, she designed and made a custom reversible satin bonnet of her own.

It was created for one little girl.

Then people started asking where they could get one, too.

And NuAira was born.




But That Was Only Our First Era.

As children grow, their needs change. Their hair changes. Their routines change. Their style changes.

We believe the products designed to protect them should evolve, too.

What began with a satin bonnet for an infant is evolving into a complete collection of satin hair protection and accessories for infants, children and adults—from bonnets and scarves to scrunchies, satin-lined caps, pillowcases and beyond.

And our evolution doesn't end with our own products.

Today, we're expanding the craftsmanship behind NuAira through wholesale and private-label manufacturing, helping other businesses transform their ideas into products of their own.
